Domaine de la Chevalerie – Vignoble PELLETANT, located in the commune of Saint Amant de Nouère, covers 35 hectares of vineyards. It produces a wide range of products, from Cognac to grape juice. Coming from a family of winemakers spanning four generations, I am now taking over the family estate. But before becoming the passionate man I am today, I have traveled a long road. It's important to understand that the wine world operates according to rules, including the transmission of knowledge, a "taste" for hard work, and the quiet contemplation of working on the vineyards. From a young age, I preferred to avoid anything predetermined. So I set off on my own path, realizing that if I wanted to be able to contemplate my vines every morning, I needed to develop a different project, one that reflected my own values. I spent several years working far from home, training in tasting, management, and marketing. In 2011, I understood what my profession, my passion, truly was: changing the way we perceive wine. My first steps on this new, chosen, and not imposed, path have, over time, allowed me to combine my personal emotions with my calling. The organization of convivial evenings featuring artists on the estate, and many other events, have emerged... to be shared with you, our visitors, both near and far. Activities offered: tour of the estate, by tractor, by 2CV. Art exhibitions throughout the year in the shop. Organization of events (limited places, by reservation): breakfast at the foot of the still on Saturdays in January and February, picnic concert in the vineyards, winter concert, aperitif concert in summer.
